It is fundamental to facilitate their work by purifying them regularly with food and natural supplements.

Where Do Toxins Come From?

All people accumulate toxins even when the liver and kidneys are continuously working to eliminate them.

However, there are many factors involved in the build-up of these substances. When we have a large quantity of it, the purifying organs have difficulty in carrying out their daily cleansing.

Here are the factors that cause toxin retention:

  • Foods are high in unhealthy fats.
  • The excess animal protein.
  • Food additives: preservatives, colorings, flavor enhancers, etc.
  • Alcohol.
  • Tobacco and all types of toxic habits.
  • Conventional body products (soaps, creams, toothpaste, etc.)
  • Environmental pollution (pesticides, gas, etc.)
  • Medication.
  • Negative emotions.

Depurative Soups

To prepare these soups, choose foods with purifying properties that facilitate the natural function of the liver and kidneys.

To season them, you can use lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, cayenne pepper, and sea salt.

They can be eaten as a starter for two weeks at dinner, by serving them with a light protein (fish or egg) as well as a fruit, such as an apple.

For the rest of the day, you will need to eat as balanced a diet as possible and drink plenty of water outside of meals.

Avoid all of the factors we discussed earlier. Otherwise, soups will not be able to have the expected positive effects.

Nettle And Celery Soup

Nettle is a wild plant that cleanses the blood. It can be picked in fields, in unpolluted places, and with plastic gloves. It is also found in herbalists.

Here are its properties:

  • Antiseptic
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Astringent
  • Detoxifying
  • Anti-rheumatic
  • Hypoglycemic

Celery is also a great purifier, which not only improves the functioning of the liver and gallbladder, but also benefits the kidneys.

Dandelion and Lettuce Soup

Dandelion contains vitamins A, B and C, folic acid, potassium, silicon, iron and tannins.

It works on the liver as well as the kidneys because it is a very complete detoxifier. It is also diuretic, digestible and slightly laxative. You can eat it fresh or dry.

We are used to eating lettuce as a salad. Yet we can cook it like any other vegetable. It also makes it much more digestible.

It has great diuretic properties and also helps us regulate the nervous system. It therefore promotes a good rest after dinner.

Turmeric and oat Soup

Besides giving the soup a little consistency, oats contain fiber and plant proteins that help us flush toxic substances from the body.

Also, this cereal is very nutritious and promotes intestinal transit.

Turmeric is an essential spice in our daily diet. It is a potent anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory drug, which helps us expel bile and therefore decongest the liver.

Turmeric and oat Soup

Onion and Artichoke Soup

Onion soup is a classic, very medicinal, and comforting recipe. Onions are rich in minerals like calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, or sulfur. It also contains vitamins A, B, C, and E.

Whether eaten raw or cooked, it will help promote kidney function.

The artichoke is one of the most famous vegetables for protecting the liver. It can be consumed directly or as an infusion.

To make this soup, you can use these two ingredients. Just be aware that this soup will taste bitter, especially if you use the artichoke leaves.
